Now Hiring – Quantum Dot Research Scientist

Tetramer is seeking a talented researcher to contribute to a major R&D program that will focus on developing protocols for the manufacture of IR-absorbing Quantum Dots (QDs) with high batch-to-batch reproducibility and predictable optoelectronic properties. The end-use application for these materials will be low Size, Weight, Power, and Cost (SWaP-C) IR sensors for military and industrial partners. The ideal candidate will work to enhance both the TRL and MRL of the technology and transition to a leadership position on the program.

With support from a Research and Technology Manager and Senior Research personnel, the Quantum Dot Research Scientist will begin with activities including optimization of existing synthetic methods, scaling up manufacturing to commercial volumes, and interfacing with customers to evaluate materials and understand their current and future needs. The individual will then focus on building the Quantum Dot team and technology into a platform capability to address new commercial opportunities.
