We reference our Axioms, or guiding principles, frequently at Tetramer. We find that this one is the easiest to hold true to — Have Fun! In this case, one of our research teams developed a logo to showcase their new project and had their simple, yet effective design printed on mugs.
The research group is working under Department of Energy (DOE) funding to remediate heavy metal ions in wastewater streams through the use polymeric bead materials. (Here’s a link to the project announcement).
The logo developed by the team shows the hazardous material (in this case, the heavy metal ions) being entrapped within a unit cell through the use of a metal organic framework. And now, these smiling mugs get to show off their project mugs at Tetramer.
