The South Carolina Manufacturers Alliance 2021 Annual Meeting held in Charleston this past week gave us an opportunity to learn more about the robust manufacturing industry in our state as well as the challenges it has faced over the last 20 months impacted by COVID-19. With updates from industry leaders as well as remarks from state and national officials, this event proved to be helpful and informative. As a new member company, we were greatly encouraged by the opportunity to meet with SCMA members face to face. Tetramer looks forward to continuing our membership and growing in these connections for years to come.
In addition, the SCMA event included an excellent tour of the SC Ports Authority in Charleston – now the deepest port on the East Coast and the first new terminal in the US since 2009. It’s a massive and impressive operation!
