Tetramer is proud to be a member of the Business Member Network in Sustain South Carolina. Launched in 2021, Sustain SC seeks to connect businesses who want to advance the state of South Carolina’s economy, environment, and people through a shared focus on sustainability.
As an advanced materials company, Tetramer’s mission is to get promising materials out of the lab and into the marketplace where they can make a difference. As the demand for sustainable solutions grows across industries, we are working to develop materials that can make a difference both for our customers and our environment.
Tetramer scientists have been working on developing new materials for use in hydrogen production, water purification, fuel cell membranes, and biobased lubricants for a number of years. In addition, we are partnering with industrial customers who need to change the materials in their products to meet the demands of upcoming regulation to improve the sustainability of their production process and finished products.
The membership of Sustain SC goals align closely with those of Tetramer. President and CEO of Sustain South Carolina, Ethel Bunch, had this to say about our joining.
